Beyoncé Keeps It Simple In Alexander McQueen Leaf Crepe Suit

Beyoncé kept her look  simple at the Two Kings Dinner. She wore an Alexander McQueen Leaf crepe jacket, and Leaf crepe boot cut trousers. The suit was paired with Maison Martin Margiela Four Set 22-karat gold-plated knuckleduster rings. Although the look has a masculine feel to it, the hair and bustier gave the look a chic twist. I wonder if she is going for a more masculine look for the new album. Time will tell…

Rihanna Makes A Masculine Statement w/ Her Leather Look

create an animated gifRihanna has switched her style up as of late, taking on a more masculine look and it is definitely working in her favor. Her stylist Mel Ottenberg described her tour wardrobe as “Hood Glamour: boys’ thug clothes mixed with diamonds and pulled-together hair and makeup.” (Vogue) Obviously this new look is going to continue beyond the stage.

Last night Rihanna ended her #777 Tour in New York City and held a meet and greet for fans at the Best Buy Theater. She wore a Damir Doma leather shirt and shorts from the Spring/Summer 2013 Ready-to-Wear Collection and paired the ensemble with a pair of Manolo Blahnik Ankle Strap Pumps. Here is a list of some of the accessories she wore Sydney Evan White Gold & Diamond Love RingAmy Zerner Serpent Ring, Meredith Kahn Ring, and black Skingraft Leather Tuque hat. My fav jewelery piece that she wore is this Extremely rare vintage Chanel gun motif choker necklace. Dopeness indeed!

Nicki Minaj Titanium Treated Quartz Statement Necklace and Ring by Charles Albert Made The Outfit

create an animated gifThere is no doubt that Nicki Minaj was a Red Carpet stunner at the 2012 American Music Awards in this Lime Green Silk Faille Strapless Draped Trumpet Gown from Monique LhuillierResort 2013 collection. Her stylist probably saw Julie Bowen in this same gown at the 2012 Emmy Award said they could spruce the gown up with the right accessories .The gown can not hold its own so I am glad that her stylist paired it with this elaborate Titanium Treated Quartz Statement Necklace and Ring by Charles Albert. This color combo was a stand out hit!

gifRihanna had a phantom of the opera/ Bond girl/ modern-day Breakfast at Tiffany’s fashion moment during one of  her performances at the 2012 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. She wore a Vivienne Westwood couture silk taffeta black corset with a thigh-high slit showcasing her garter belt stockings.

Rihanna Rocks Vintage Inspired Neclace By Lanvin/ Photos

picasion.comLast night Rihanna grabbed some grub at one of her favorite spots Giorgio Baldi in Santa Monica. The most interesting part of the evening was her fashion sense. Her vintage inspired Lanvin Cameo pendant necklace stood out to me.

The pairing of the necklace and the Alexander Wang Pleated Leather Top was a brilliant idea! She finished the look with a Prada Saffiano Vernice Tote Bag, and a pair of her fav  Tom Ford Sandals. I think that she  should have worn  a full leather dress, but that is my opinion.

Some of the pieces that Kim Kardashian wore:

Emilio Pucci Embellished Cropped Black Top & Siren Skirt

Gwyneth Paltrow was spotted wearing this gorgeous Emilio Pucci Embellished midriff-revealing ensemble when she attended the 2011 Emmy Awards. Kim Kardashian recently wore the same ensemble when she attended Diddy‘s yacht party in Cannes.  I feel that Gwyneth wore this  Emilio Pucci ensemble better because of her toned stature. She wore the ensemble it did not wear her. I did not like Kim’s earring choice and the ensemble did not flatter her figure at all. No shade, she is still one of my top fashionista’s! Both ladies wore the Emilio Pucci Embellished Cropped Black Top & Siren Skirt , but the question is…Who’s Got Style? Vote below.

Rihanna Makes It A Rockabilly, Glamorous Thanksgiving Dinner in Dublin, Ireland

make an animationRihanna held a Thanksgiving dinner for her band and crew members at O’Donoghue’s pub in Dublin, Ireland on November 24. Ri Ri arrived extra glammed up sporting this fun 1940’s rockabilly hairstyle with her hair pinned up in a french roll in the back, parted in the center styled with soft waves, and a side swept bang with soft waves. Some pieces she wore included, Lanvin Tyrone Leather Pump in grey and Dolce & Gabbana sunglasses.

Daily Star newspaper had the lowdown on the evening.

“She has reserved O’Donoghue’s pub on Baggot Street for 100 guests. She’s handpicked a special menu laid on by top French restaurant Hugo’s, which is across the street from the traditional Irish pub. Rihanna and her crew have been on the road for a long time and they’re all missing out on sharing the traditional Thanksgiving dinner with their families. The menu includes clam chowder soup and a turkey dinner with mash, vegetables and cranberry sauce. There will be side dishes of macaroni and cheese, plus sweet potato mash with marshmallow sauce. For pudding there’s apple cobbler with biscuit crumble.”

Beyoncé’s Handbag Feature: Alexander Wang Devere Satchel

Beyoncé is one celebrity that doesn’t go anywhere without a fly handbag.  I decided to highlight her handbag of choice, the Alexander Wang Devere Satchel, that she carried in NYC on November 18, 2011.  The Alexander Wang Devere Satchel is made from calfskin leather and has rabbit fur trim handbag charms attached. Other than Bee’s jewelery this handbag is what made her outfit.

Sharon Paris of Paris House ~ A Style Incorporated Interview

Paris House

Designer Sharon Paris took some time to answer questions for the Style Incorporated readers. In my interview with Sharon she shares her inspirations and gives insight to those interested in becoming an accessories designer.

Who is Sharon Paris?

Sharon Paris: New Zealand(er), minimalist, borderline OCD, non-bicycle-rider, conflict-avoider, compulsive worrier, conceptual artist, owner of particularly long arms and legs (although on whole, only exactly average in height), and designer/creator of parishouse.co.nz.

When did you know that you wanted to become a designer?

Sharon Paris: After I exhausted all other possibilities.  There was a time I seriously contemplated working in a lab researching genetics

What was the very first thing you designed professionally/ personally?

Sharon Paris: My first collection of wallets, before that I was studying fine arts planning on being signed to a gallery.

Describe your personal style.

Sharon Paris: I try, I really do but there are so many things to consider that I think I constantly end up falling short of how it should be.  At the moment I’m trying to be more eclectic (both in my clothes and around my home) but my clothes seem to always end up being J Crew and my home Ikea.

Who are the people behind Paris House? How did it start?

Sharon Paris: There’s me, I design & sell the collection but then there are lots of people doing small jobs behind the scenes: the office manager, my kick-arse accountant, production manager, samplers, production workers, web site developer, graphic designer, distributor, sales assistant.

To quote Marcel Broodthaers “I too wondered if I would sell something and succeed in life, the idea of inventing something insincere finally crossed my mind and I set to work at once.”  This is the closest answer I know in regard to how we started.

From where do you draw your inspiration for your collections?

Sharon Paris: Everywhere, people in the street, magazines, books, movies, colour combinations I see and like, artists, my friends (my friends are always trying to give me ‘suggestions’ for quotes for artwork- some better than others.)

What set’s Paris House apart from its competition? What would you say is your trademark?

Sharon Paris: We try to make people smile: in a witty & irreverent way, with a simple, cute & clever aesthetic.

How would you describe the “Paris House” customer?

Sharon Paris: They’re someone who prefers to have an item that speaks to them personally- people choose our designs based on the artwork, the functionality is less important.  Customers first want an artwork that relates to them.

How often do Paris House bags and wallets come out?

Sharon Paris: We make a brand new collection every year with new pieces and colours through out the year.

What’s your best seller right now?

Sharon Paris: The photo pocket wallet: Don’t Thank Me, Buy Me Something. It speaks to the masses.

Who are some other designers that you admire?

Sharon Paris: Marc Jacobs, Phoebe Philo, Stefan Sagmeister, Arabella Ramsay, Miranda July, Dick Frizzell, Alt Group, Martin Popplewell, Brogen Averill.

So far, what are your favorite pieces?

Sharon Paris: The Don’t be Stupid I’m a Disaster half moon, it speaks to me personally.

Will you be designing other accessories?

Sharon Paris: We do some other designs for other companies, t-shirts, bed linen, tea towels and shoes.  For Paris House we’re happy to focus on our niche of the market.

What are your plans for Paris House in the future?

Sharon Paris: Just a general be better at what we’re doing- there is so much room for growth.

Do you have any advice for aspiring accessory designers?

Sharon Paris: Unless you start with a lot of money behind you, it can be a hard and slow process, be prepared for that.
